Our goal is to provide trusted resources to support you in helping children grow, learn, and participate in everyday life. The EI Clearinghouse is funded by the Illinois Department of Early Childhood and located on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. To learn more, see The Early Intervention Clearinghouse Is Your Information Station.
The Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Program provides a collection of services for families of children from birth to age 3 who have disabilities or developmental delays or who are at risk of having developmental delays. Families are the key to successful early intervention.

If you’re in the neighborhood, feel free to stop in. We’re located on the University of Illinois Campus at the Children’s Research Center (CRC) in Champaign. The CRC is located near the Illini Credit Union, southwest of the State Farm Center. Several MTD bus stops are within a short walking distance. The 24 Link and Yellow Hopper routes both serve the area. The closest stops are First & Gerty, Water Survey, and Oak & Gerty. View map.
Once you arrive, enter the building on the east end, across from the Illini Credit Union. After entering, there is a set of stairs available immediately to the right of the first set of doors or an elevator just past the second set of doors. Go down to the lower level and walk down the hall until you reach Room 20 – that is the Illinois Early Intervention Clearinghouse!
