The Bureau of Early Intervention (EI) has announced the release of the revised Illinois Early Intervention Provider Handbook draft. While the only true policy changes are related to Early Intervention/Extended Services, changes to this handbook have been documented in a Summary of Changes to assist Providers in navigating those changes.
Any stakeholder may make comments on this document at any time. To provide comments, simply email your suggestions to the DHS EI email box at dhs.eiquestions@illinois.gov. All comments will be considered. The information provided may be utilized now but will be effective July 1, 2022.
Revisions to this version will be considered and added to the final release in July 2022. Please note that there are some formatting issues which will be addressed with the final release after all comments on the draft are considered.
