Caregiver Leadership Training Is Coming

Interested in becoming a leader in early intervention?

Back by popular demand, the Early Intervention Leadership Program starts a new series in February 2025. We are offering an eight-hour parent/caregiver leadership program in early intervention. The program content includes: advocacy skills, principles of early intervention, and leadership opportunities to impact systemic change. Participants who attend all four sessions and participate in the testimonial video will be paid a $25 gift card and receive a caregiver leadership packet. The program will be held over zoom. Up to 50 individuals can participate.

To participate in this program, you must:

  • be older than the age of 18
  • have a child between the ages of 0-8 who received early intervention services
  • agree to participate in the leadership program

The Early Intervention Leadership Program takes place over four weeks.   The program sessions will be presented in English, interpretation into other languages may be available upon request.  Two training sessions will be held every week for four weeks beginning in February 2025. The same content will be covered in both sessions each week, participants can choose to participate in either one.

The Early Intervention Leadership Program is designed to empower caregivers and parents participating in early intervention to advocate for their children and family.
