Caregiver Leadership Training: Learn to be an advocate for your child

Interested in becoming a leader in early intervention?

Back by popular demand, the Early Intervention Leadership Program starts a new series in September 2026. We are offering an eight-hour parent/caregiver leadership program in early intervention. The program content includes: advocacy skills, principles of early intervention, and leadership opportunities to impact systemic change. Participants who attend all four sessions and participate in the testimonial video will be paid a $25 gift card and receive a caregiver leadership packet. The program will be held over zoom. Up to 50 individuals can participate.

To participate in this program, you must:

  • have a child between the ages of 0-8 who received early intervention services
  • agree to participate in the leadership program

The Early Intervention Leadership Program will be held:

  • Spanish
    • Tuesdays – September 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM
  • English
    • Thursdays – September 10, 17, 24, and Oct. 1 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM
